Interview with ALT Insider: Mike's Ambition (真伊久の野望)

A few days ago, I was personally reached out to by the owner/editor of one of the leading ALT guidance sites, ALT Insider and was asked for an interview about my journey from my "humble beginnings" as an ALT to becoming the first American engineer at a small Japanese engineering firm (though technically, I'll be going through "machine medical school" training for the first seven years before I becoming a full engineer).

I was very honored to be interviewed by James and am definitely was more than willing to come forward about my story and give a brief summary about my current work at my current position as a field engineer and at Simple Gaijin. It has been a long road to get to this point, and I feel that I owe it to myself to tell the world about my story and at the same time, perhaps give a little hope to the people that are still stuck in the ALT/Eikaiwa world that are trying to break out of it.
