Ask About Lessons and Availability

Lessons are live, private, and online. Simple Gaijin primarily serves English-speaking students in the United States, with other locations accommodated when scheduling and payment arrangements are practical.

Appointments are arranged individually. Include your time zone and possible lesson times so Mike can discuss availability with you.

Give Mike a Useful Starting Point

For lesson inquiries, share your name, email, learning goal, and previous Japanese experience. Choose one lesson per week or two or more lessons per week, and mention any upcoming trip or exam you are preparing for.

If you are inquiring for a minor, a parent or guardian should get in touch and include the student's age. Simple Gaijin accepts students age 13 and older, with appropriate parent or guardian consent and involvement for minors.

Simple Gaijin is designed around consistent, ongoing instruction. Students must take lessons at least once per week. Twice-monthly, monthly, and other infrequent lesson arrangements are not offered.

For trip accompaniment, select Travel Japanese and include your itinerary and request in the message field. In-person support is arranged separately from regular online lessons.
